"Latvian Journal of Chemistry"  publishes experimental and theoretical papers covering the areas of inorganic, physical, analytical, organic, bioorganic, polymer and environmental chemistry in Latvian, English and Russian as well as review papers, short communications - letters, discussion, information concerning the outstanding chemists, conferences.

The Journal is founded by the Latvian Academy of Science; it is issued since 1961 (until 1990 - as Proceedings of Academy of Sciences of Latvian SSR. Chemistry Series) four times a year.
